A Folk at the Book Tree event: Yvonne Lyon and Boo Hewerdine are touring their incredible collaborative album, Things Found in Books, which is couldn't be more apt for a bookshop performance! Both highly acclaimed singer-songwriters individually, Boo and Yvonne have joined together to create an album full of hope and longing, telling beautifully human stories of lives hinted at in items which have been lost and found between the pages of secondhand books.

Katie Grace Harris is a multi-tasking, foot tapping, piano, dulcimer and accordion playing singer and story-weaver. Inspired by real stories of social injustice and with a fast-growing reputation in the UK Folk world, her sound has been described as 'boot-thumping, heart filling contemporary British folk’.

Steve Pledger is one of the finest protest singer/songwriters of his generation (Folk & Tumble). On record as well as on stage, his songs connect, with RnR Magazine describing his music as having "a direct route to the heart". Now more than ever, his live shows and his latest album, What Tomorrow Knows, would seem to confirm that statement. For him, that's very much what it's all about.
