Edwina Hayes

Friday 1st August at 7:30 pm

£12.00
A Folk at the Book Tree event! Described by Nanci Griffith as ‘the sweetest voice in England’, Edwina Hayes brings together English folk, Americana and the rich Northern singer/songwriter tradition to create a sound that’s truly her own.

We are delighted to welcome the brilliant Edwina Hayes back to the Book Tree for what we know will be a lovely evening of gorgeous music!

Edwina’s beautiful songs and natural stage presence have earned her a reputation as a Sweet-voiced songwriter who has a fine line in gentle, country-tinged material (Time Out Magazine). She has opened shows for Jools Holland and Van Morrison, toured with artists such as KT Tunstall and Gretchen Peters, and played her own sets on stages everywhere from Glastonbury Festival to The Royal Albert Hall.

Drinks will be available to purchase at an informal bar before the show and during the interval. The concert will be in our atmospheric upstairs event space, surrounded by the building’s old oak beams.

Doors will open from 7pm, and the performance will start at 7.30pm.
