The Book Tree Booker Party is back for 2026!

The shortlist has been announced, and now it’s time to delve into this especially varied Booker Prize list…

“Spanning a range of genres – from dystopian fiction to contemporary realism, from campus satire to historical fiction – the shortlisted books explore what it means to be human in an ever-changing world and the communities and events that shape us. Both intimate and epic, personal and political, they provide meditations on familial bonds, identity, shame, love, loneliness, survival and the  ultimate unknowability of others.” — The Booker Prize website (explore more here).

This year’s Booker Prize Party will be held on the evening of the winner announcement in our beautiful, beamed event space. There will be plenty of time to browse the shelves while socialising with likeminded readers and the Book Tree team. What better way to spend an evening than with good friends, good books and a glass of wine?

The ceremony in London will be live-streamed on the Booker Prize YouTube channel here.
