The Yard is a hilarious feel-good true story of a new mum on her journey from post-natal depression to the dawning of her self-worth as she discovers adventure, friendship and the healing power of horses. Join Grace as she battles her negative thought patterns and fears amongst a backdrop of eccentric characters, pampered farm animals and the glorious Yorkshire countryside. Grace Olson is a mum, a massage therapist and an ILM level 5 certified coach. She lives in Leeds, and is the proud owner of three beautiful horses. Grace’s day job involves helping terminally ill people to feel more comfortable with their situations. She uses a combined treatment of massage, lymphatic drainage, coaching and healing. Her big dream is to set up a farm-based therapy centre where rescued farm animals can receive love and care and in turn help to heal the hearts and minds of terminally ill people. The proceeds of this book will go towards making that dream a reality.
